Being in a relationship is hard. Doing the work to stay connected, especially when things feel off, is even harder. I offer couples counseling in Frisco TX for partners who want to get real about what’s not working, build better patterns, and move forward with more clarity, connection, and confidence. This isn’t surface-level talk or rehashing old arguments - it’s space to be honest, understand each other, and actually make progress.
You’re here because you’re ready to grow.
You two aren't here because you’re broken.
You care about each other. But communication is tense, things feel misunderstood, and the connection you used to have feels buried under conflict, exhaustion, or silence. This isn’t about blame. It’s about better tools, clearer understanding, and finally learning how to show up for each other.
I work with couples who are ready to stop sweeping things under the rug, and start actually understanding each other. Couples counseling can help you:
This is a space to figure things out, say the hard stuff, and build something stronger together.
Learn to communicate clearly, even when it’s hard
Show up with more empathy, clarity, and accountability - for yourself and each other
I’m not here to pick sides or hand you a list of rules. I’m here to help you understand what’s actually happening underneath the surface and give you tools to change it.
Working with me means you’ll both get the space to be heard and the push to get honest. I’ll help you slow things down, say what you actually mean, and figure out what keeps getting in the way. I’m direct but calm, real without being harsh, and always focused on helping you move forward, not just rehash the past.
This isn’t therapy that keeps you stuck in blame or theory. It’s real work for couples who want to reconnect, rebuild, and grow together - even when it’s messy.
What Makes This Different
Here’s what sets this work apart:
Not a spa day. And that’s a good thing.
- It’s not about who’s right - it’s about what’s real. We’ll slow down the back-and-forth and get to what’s actually going on underneath.
- Built for both of you. This isn’t one person doing the work while the other nods along. We dig in together, side by side.
- You’ll practice new ways to show up. I’ll help you translate tension into something useful: like clarity, empathy, and forward motion.
- You’ll have a plan - not just a vent session. We’ll stay grounded in what matters most, so every session feels purposeful, not performative.
If things feel tense, distant, or just off - you don’t have to keep guessing what’s wrong. Couples therapy can give you language, clarity, and traction to work through it. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Let’s talk it out Then
work it out.
There’s no one-size-fits-all, but couples attending therapy can always help improve their relationship. That said, the outcome depends on both of you showing up, being honest, and doing the work. If you're both ready to engage - not just attend - therapy can be a game-changer.
Typically, no - and that’s one reason I only offer private pay. It lets us focus on what actually helps you, without diagnosis codes or limits set by insurance companies.
Couples sessions are $150 for a 50-minute appointment. We’ll talk through your goals and figure out what kind of rhythm makes sense during our consult.
ASKED and ANSWERED
Honestly? They’re basically the same. The terms are often used interchangeably. Some people say therapy, some say counseling - either way, it’s about having a trained professional help you work through challenges and strengthen your relationship. The real difference is in the approach, not the name.
There is no wrong time to go to couples therapy. Whether things feel tense or totally solid: you can always benefit from couples therapy. Couples therapy can help you understand each other better, work through patterns, and build a stronger relationship together.
